Good for you for seeking counseling when you needed it. That is not an easy thing to do. So glad you are moving in a positive direction!
At first I was hesitant to consider counselling, but after some convincing by a member of support staff from my local social club, I'm glad that I eventually gave it a shot. :-)
It has definitely been very helpful to discuss my difficulties with a professional, getting stuff off my chest, and revitalising my self-confidence. Opening up more to my family regarding my true feelings about work, and thus getting more support from them, has also been a major factor in my road to happiness. :-D
