Well I don't know about anybody else but I can only back to Flash MX 7, and that's when I'm at my home 900 miles away where I have Flash CS3 to back it to Flash 8. I think it's time to upgrade man.

I agree with nstriker.
I recommend Adobe Flash CS3. (Do NOT go for Adobe Flash CS4, it's a buggy, laggy glitchfest I.M.O.!) From here on in everyone should really consider Macromedia Flash 8 an absolute minimum version. Anything below that in 2009 and onwards is seriously outdated.

You MIGHT be able to find some sort of backwards compatibility modification for your version of Adobe Flash, however, I don't know of any.
Once again, I say that Adobe should be more like Microsoft, and have their products be able to view their file formats correctly in multiple versions of their software. Why oh why don't they release a compatibility pack download, like Microsoft did for Microsoft Office? Silly Adobe, and they wonder why some people are put off their products.... Too strict in compatibility!

Depends on what you tell the web browser you are using to do with the file. Try context clicking (Right clicking, for example.) the audio links and see what options you have available, or try tweaking the web browser's settings.
I'm sure you'll find a solution!
Oh yeah, when Madness 9 came out krinkels gave me the audio to redistribute. I have the .mp3 if you can host it.

When I save the link, when I open it, it says: "Unexpected File Format", and it doesn't do anything after that. Its just left of an empty page of Flash 8.

This means that you're trying to open a .fla file format version which is different to Flash 8.
Solution 1: Upgrade to a newer version of Adobe Flash.
Solution 2: Get the file converted. No, I don't do conversions. I post / link to resources on an 'as is' basis.

I used to link to a really good one. However, the link to the file became invalid, so I removed the link from the news post.
Shame. It was quite a big pack of sounds. Still, MC4_spraytz.fla has a decent selection of sounds in its .fla library.
I had no problem downloading the music (Which is awesome), but for some reason when I download the sprite sheets, there's no way for me to look at them, let alone open them... can you help me out??
Could you be more specific as to what exactly happened / appeared on screen?

That's quite old, I think. Save up, and buy Adobe Flash CS3. I almost guarantee you will not regret it.
